Wedding Craziness!

I feel like I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off this week. I'm getting married 2 weeks from Saturday! I can't believe it's almost here, finally! I've been getting several last minute errands done this week:
  • Hair trial last night
  • Ordering the last of the candy for the candy buffet
  • Buying supplies for the Ladies Bathroom Basket
  • Getting my wedding band sized this morning
  • Working out like crazy
  • Finishing up our programs
  • Wrapping gifts
  • Hair highlights/trim this afternoon
I'm going out of town this weekend for a wedding in Hilton Head! I'm so excited for a little break and to see all of our college friends. And of course, I love a good wedding :)

Tonight, I'm going with a couple of friends to see the movie, He's Just Not That Into You, at the dollar theater. I never saw it when it came out, so I'm pretty excited! Let me know what you thought about it!

J. Crew Deals

It is no secret that I am obsessed with J. Crew. I visit their website WAY too much. I've had a coupon for 25% off my total purchase for a while, so I stopped in today to see if I could find some cute Spring/Summer clothes! Here's what I picked up:

I also got a really cute little gold frog necklace! Unfortunately, I can't find a picture of it. I got all three of these items for $50.00! They were all on sale, plus my additional 25% off coupon. I am SO ready to wear summer clothes!

Last Wedding Shower

I have been so blessed to have so many people want to host parties and showers for me...I have the most wonderful family and friends! Everyone has been so generous and I feel so spoiled - I have enjoyed every minute of my wedding festivities thus far!

Saturday night, my Maid of Honor (Alyssa), her mother, and another one of my bridesmaids (Alison) threw me a spa-themed shower. It was so fun! It was so fun to just hang out with my friends and eat yummy food. Here are a few pictures from the evening (and yes, I did wear the same dress I wore to our Stock the Bar Shower - don't judge):

Jekyll Island Recap

I'm back, FINALLY, with a recap from our trip to Jekyll Island! Jekyll Island has always been a favorite place in my family. We used to go on vacation there when I was younger and my brother was married there almost 2 years ago. It's so beautiful! If you have not been, I highly recommend it. It's so relaxing, quiet, and isolated. We stayed at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, which is absolutely beautiful!

My activities during the week pretty much consisted of reading, laying by the pool, riding bikes, and eating. It was wonderful!

Here are some pictures...mostly are from our dinners. I ate so much crab on this trip!

We left Max at my brother's house for the week. When we got there to pick him up on Friday, he was waiting for us. This picture is my new computer background now :)

I had my last wedding shower last night. It was so fun! I will be back with pictures and a recap tomorrow. Have a great week!

Hello from Jekyll!

Today is our last day at Jekyll Island...our trip has been WONDERFUL. So relaxing - just what I needed before our wedding (which is only 3 weeks away)! I've been laying by the pool, riding bikes, eating yummy seafood, and enjoying the beautiful island. I love it here! I could just pack up and move here. Here is a little glimpse of where I've been all week:

Stock the Bar Shower!

We had such a great time yesterday in Chattanooga. My whole family came up (minus my little brother) and we ate lunch at a delicious Mexican restaurant, Taco Mamacita. I really should not be allowed to eat Mexican food till after the wedding - I have a problem! After lunch, everyone came over to see our house, then we all checked into the hotel. We stayed at the Chattanoogan, which was such a cool hotel.

Michael's parents had us over to their house before the shower. His mom had gone all out with appetizers and champagne for everyone - it was so pretty!

The Stock the Bar shower was AMAZING. The hosts were one of Michael's groomsman's parents and they seriously went all out. To begin, the hosts have the most amazing house that sits on the mountain overlooking Chattanooga. The shower was catered with the most amazing food. They had a bartender and passed appetizers too! My favorite appetizers had to be the passed sushi rolls though :) Michael and I received some amazing gifts...I think we are set on alcohol for a long, considering I don't even really drink liquor! We did receive some really cool glassware and wine though, which are right up my ally. Here are some pictures from the party:

The view was incredible!

The amazing spread of food!

I thought this gift was so cool! It was a really neat drink bin filled with different types of beer. Michael loved it!

We had such an amazing time! It was generous of them to throw us such an amazing shower.

I probably will not be blogging until Friday...I'm heading to Jekyll Island tomorrow morning with my parents till Friday! Have a great week!

Weekend Fun!

I am SO excited it's Friday! I have a wonderful, busy weekend planned.

Tonight, I'm taking a bottle of vino and Twilight over to my friend Mrs. Southern Belle's house! It should be good times, as we are both in love with Edward Cullen. Don't ask me how many times I've seen Twilight.

Tomorrow, my family and I are heading up to Chattanooga! Michael and I have a Stock the Bar Shower, hosted by some of his family friends. I'm excited to get to meet some of people that I have not met and visit with our Chattanooga friends! My family wants me to show them around Chattanooga a little and show them our new house. We're all staying at a hotel downtown tomorrow night - I'm so excited!

I'll be back Sunday with pictures. Have a great weekend!
