Beach Vacation!

Michael and I just got home from a week-long vacation in the Seaside, Florida area with my whole family! We had such a great time - it was so nice to relax and spend time with family. We rented a house for the big group, which included my parents, both of my brothers, my sister-in-law, her mother, baby Gates, Michael, and myself!

This trip couldn't have come at a better time! I finished my old job the Friday before we left for the beach and I start a new job at a Public Relations firm tomorrow! Wish me luck!

Beach Trip!

We had the most amazing long weekend in the Seaside, Florida area last weekend. We spent it here....

And here...

I absolutely LOVE the Fort Walton Beach area. The beaches are gorgeous, the little towns are adorable, and there are so many fun restaurants and shops. We went with our good friends Grace and Will for the long weekend. We rented an adorable condo in the Gulf Place village - so cute!

We had SO much fun with them. We are definitely making this an annual trip. Lucky for me I'm heading back to Seaside in August for a whole week with my family!

Jekyll Island Recap

I'm back, FINALLY, with a recap from our trip to Jekyll Island! Jekyll Island has always been a favorite place in my family. We used to go on vacation there when I was younger and my brother was married there almost 2 years ago. It's so beautiful! If you have not been, I highly recommend it. It's so relaxing, quiet, and isolated. We stayed at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, which is absolutely beautiful!

My activities during the week pretty much consisted of reading, laying by the pool, riding bikes, and eating. It was wonderful!

We left Max at my brother's house for the week. When we got there to pick him up on Friday, he was waiting for us. This picture is my new computer background now :)

I had my last wedding shower last night. It was so fun! I will be back with pictures and a recap tomorrow. Have a great week!

Hello from Jekyll!

Today is our last day at Jekyll Island...our trip has been WONDERFUL. So relaxing - just what I needed before our wedding (which is only 3 weeks away)! I've been laying by the pool, riding bikes, eating yummy seafood, and enjoying the beautiful island. I love it here! I could just pack up and move here.
